Eight talented young players were given the opportunity of a lifetime by having been selected to play on centre court during the Capitala World Tennis Championships in front of over 5000 fans. The championships took place from 31 December 2009 to 2 January 2010 at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.

The Capitala Tennis in Schools Program, which started in September 2009, saw local tennis coaches visiting hundreds of children in schools across Dubai and Abu Dhabi to find mini tennis talents.  Out of 25 schools, 2 children from each school were selected. The 50 children were invited to a skills test day at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi to pick out 8 players for the opportunity to play mini tennis on the centre court

Libra Tennis Academy is extremely proud that 6 of the 8 finalists are from its mini tennis program based at Raha International School, Abu Dhabi.
