Dear Parents,

our objective is to promote awareness to Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and to provide information and support  to sufferers, both adults and children, and their families in Dubai.

ADHD Support Group was founded in 2010 by Rachel Jex. Rachel's son Robert was diagnosed with ADHD inattentive in 2007 here in Dubai. During this process Rachel realised that very little existed to help and support parents here in Dubai, and decided to set up the support group as it was a very lonely and frightening time with no one to turn to for guidance and support.

Since 2007 we have had many meetings and our group has grown in size.

Each month we meet at the Dubai British School. Speakers are invited to come and share their ideas and information to help us help our children.

We have a large resource of professionally recommended support such as doctors, therapists and counselors here in Dubai, all of which have been recommended by members. We also have compiled a list of helpful books about ADHD/ADD.
