Dr. Carla Caviness

Dr. Carla Caviness is an accomplished American Curriculum Specialist with extensive experience in international educational settings. Holding a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, as well as a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management, she is dedicated to promoting academic excellence and fostering inclusive learning environments. 

Since 2016, Dr. Carla has been an integral part of the education landscape in the United Arab Emirates, serving in various senior leadership positions. Her expertise lies in establishing partnerships and facilitating collaborations to enhance educational programs. 

In 2023, Dr. Carla joined Taaleem as the Founding Elementary Principal of Dubai Schools Nad Al Sheba. Her role centers around creating a strong foundation for academic success while promoting inclusive practices. Her commitment to fostering collaboration and inclusion ensures that every student receives a high-quality education tailored to their individual needs. With her continued dedication, Dr. Carla will serve as the Principal for the next academic year, continuing to inspire students and lead the school toward academic excellence.
