Experience

Over 25 years’ Leadership experience, in his native Australia and internationally including Chief Education roles in the UAE, China and Hong Kong. Norm has held Senior Corporate roles with both ESOL in the UAE, and Yew Chung Schools in Asia before returning to the UAE to join Taaleem.
Norm has broad based school and system wide experience, incorporating skills, competency and knowledge in:

  • Leadership training, professional development and training delivery, mentoring and coaching
  • Curriculum reform models of school improvement
  • Leading staff and communities through change
  • Accountability principles and practices in relation to schools and organisations
